Adults should do some type of physical activity every day. Any type of activity is good for you. The more you do the better. Aim to be physically active every day. Any activity is better than none, and more is better still.
Regular physical activity also helps to control weight and ease stress. Ideally, you should aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity on at least five days of the week but even 10 minutes is better than nothing. You should also aim to do at least a couple of sessions of muscle-strengthening activities such as yoga, going to the gym ,gardening or even carrying some heavy bags of shopping each week as well.
