Current Arrangement
Recent analysis of the range of payments currently made to staff has identified that some professional fees are still being reimbursed to staff.
Proposed Arrangement
For parity and fairness the proposal is that no professional fees should be reimbursed to staff. The final arrangements will be clarified within the Council’s Pay Policy and associated pages on the Council’s intranet to avoid confusion in the future.
Implementation
It is proposed that these payments will cease with effect from 1 February 2021.
