Exciting opportunity to transform your organisation’s culture

Are you a Responsible Individual or registered manager of adult social care services?

Could you use support to develop and strengthen your organisation’s culture?

Social Care Wales is looking for people to take part in online workshops to help co-design practical ways to build and measure positive cultures.

By taking part, you’ll get to:

  • share what works, and how it contributes to a positive culture
  • discuss what conditions help positive cultures thrive
  • explore how to measure improvement
  • be a part of shaping positive working cultures in social care across Wales

It will also count towards your continuous professional development (CPD) hours.

Social Care Wales wants to make sure the programme reflects the reality of the sector, so a diverse mix of adult social care providers is being sought to take part, including people from:

  • residential care
  • domiciliary care
  • supported living services
  • any other adult social care settings

It doesn’t matter if you’re just starting to build a positive culture, or if you’ve been doing it for a long time – you can help make a difference to social care in Wales.

Findings from the workshops will be used to support more organisations to develop positive cultures in the future.

About positive cultures

Positive cultures can lead to better outcomes for people who receive care and support, and the people who give care and support.

That’s why Social Care Wales is working with the Rayne Foundation to promote and grow positive cultures across social care. With support from the Rayne Foundation, Social Care Wales is working with social care providers across Wales to learn about their experiences of supporting and measuring positive cultures in their organisations.
