We are looking to recruit an ambitious and truly transformational leader to support the delivery of modernised and sustainable services to our communities.
If you can evidence your ability to transform services and improve outcomes, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for someone with a proven track record, who wants to develop their strategic leadership skills in a challenging but exciting environment.
You should be a visionary who can impact culture in the workforce with the ability to build on our Team Ceredigion ethos that promotes engaged, enabled and high performing teams.
Reporting to the Chief Executive and to Council, you will work alongside one other Corporate Director to lead and manage a group of service areas. You will be a values-based leader and have a key role in advising elected members and the senior management team.
Whilst a background in health or social care would be an advantage the critical requirement is to have a creative and innovative approach to improve service delivery and harness the potential of existing staff to develop resilient, agile and forward thinking services. You will drive the reorganisation of our pioneering Through Age and Wellbeing Programme.
You will be at the centre of partner relationships both locally and regionally, ensuring that statutory responsibilities are maintained as well as overseeing a large and complex budget to ensure services are financially sustainable.
In exchange for your skills and commitment we will offer you a range of employee benefits including flexible working hours, competitive annual leave allowance, generous pension contribution scheme, life style savings, discounted gym membership and much more. Information about the employee benefits we offer can be found here.
