We are looking to recruit a Support Officer to join our expanding Wellbeing Centre Service. As the council’s lead service for delivering and developing physical activity opportunities; you will work closely with the management team to ensure that the service maximises its contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of the county’s residents.
Leading teams to develop Wellbeing Hubs in the 3 main towns across the mid and south of Ceredigion, you will identify how we can improve our current provision such as Learn To Swim programme, and our School Swimming programme and introduce new opportunities to increase the usage of all our facilities. Your role will also involve supporting our staff to provide an excellent customer experience.
We want to provide opportunities that encourage the residents of Ceredigion to become healthy and active and to embed those principles into their everyday lives. You will work closely with the Co-ordinator – WBH Operations & Development (Mid & South) and our Health Intervention and Physical Activity & Play staff to achieve this. You will also engage with other council services, public sector and third sector partners to broaden the range of services that the residents of Ceredigion can access at our Wellbeing Centres.
