We are looking to recruit 2 x Childcare Offer Assessors to join our Childcare Unit until the end of March 31st, 2023.
The Childcare Offer Assessor will be required to work as part of the Council’s Childcare Unit, to support and implement the Childcare Offer programme in Ceredigion and also on behalf of neighboring authorities – Carmarthenshire, Powys and Pembrokeshire.
The role of Childcare Offer Assessor is an office based post but, currently working from home in the current climate. You will be responsible for processing applications received for the Childcare Offer. Your role will be to check that parent’s applications have all the necessary evidence required as part of the application. You will be responsible for assessing if a parent meets the criteria for the offer or not. This will involve analysing parent’s wage slips, self-assessment tax returns etc. It will be your role to inform parents of your decision.
