Our People and Organisation Service is seeking to recruit an Employee Communications and Marketing Assistant to work 2 days per week, on a permanent contractual basis. The successful applicant will play a lead role in the administration and promotion of our recruitment campaigns. This will include adding adverts to our careers website, external jobs boards and sharing our opportunities and promoting our employer brand via our social media channels. You will also assist the Employee Engagement and Digital Officer in editing and enhancing communication materials for sharing via our intranet site and our internal news channel.

Job Description and Person Specification
Working hours
This role will form part of a job-share arrangement. The successful candidate will work either Monday and Friday or Monday and Tuesday. This can be agreed on appointment.
This position also has access to our flexi-scheme. This discretionary benefit currently allows for hours to be worked between a bandwidth of 6:00am and 9:00pm, subject to line manager agreement.
Work location
Under the current COVID situation this post will be required to work from home until Council offices are reopened. We will also consider applications from individuals wishing to work from home on a more formal basis.
