e-sgol is seeking to appoint experienced practitioners from across Wales to deliver and/or facilitate 4 x 45 minute sessions which will be shared with schools across Wales, to support learners to further develop their understanding of different topics/units from various subjects.
Recruited practitioners will feature in Carlam Cymru live events, resources and recordings. These will be made available to schools and learners in the Spring term. Each live event (facilitated through Microsoft Teams) will be recorded and made available to schools, teachers and students to access at a later date. A taste of the October 2021 sessions can be seen by clicking on this link.
Practitioners will be asked to select topics/units from their chosen subjects, and prepare the content/resources for the four 45 minute live events. During the live events, practitioners will need to outline the key skills and knowledge that will reinforce learners’ understanding of their subject. Practitioners will work and deliver the live sessions in pairs.
The focus for the Spring term will be GCSE, AS and A Level topics for as many subjects (and tiers) as possible, in both Welsh and English, where applicable.
Below are some subjects we would like to include, and if you can offer others, please note this on your application. All subjects/tiers are not guaranteed of running.
Successful practitioners will be paid for the time invested in the planning and delivery of the live events:
