We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Parking Services Team as a Parking Services Officer.
Your role will be to provide an efficient and effective service of parking enforcement on foot or by vehicle as directed, in order to minimise parking contraventions and contribute to road safety and traffic management in Ceredigion.
You will be the direct point of contact with members of the public and represent the Council with regards to parking matters. You will spend the majority of your time working alone without direct supervision. You will be impartial with the ability to deal with conflict appropriately.
The post will require officers to work 5 days out of 7 including Bank Holidays following a rota with shifts between 7:30am and 7:00pm. On occasion, officers may be asked to work shifts outside these hours, with prior agreement.
You will hold, or be prepared to achieve the City and Guilds Civil Parking Enforcement Level 2 qualification.
