If the answer is yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for suitably experienced and skilled Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapists to join our community occupational therapy service in Ceredigion and provide occupational therapy leadership and expertise within a multidisciplinary and multiagency setting.
We are seeking proactive, motivated, compassionate, highly skilled individuals with expert knowledge and experience working in the field of community occupational therapy; working with individuals in a community health/ social care/ housing setting.
You will be expected to oversee the delivery of a quality occupational therapy service working within current legislation and statutory guidelines and as part of a team to deliver evidence-based, person-centred occupational therapy; assessing the needs of adults and older people and supporting the provision of specialist equipment and housing adaptations to maximise independence, safety, and quality of life.
The role will focus on supporting person-centred pathways across health and social care sectors, management and supervision of Occupational Therapy staff, and quality assurance of the service. Importantly the service is supported by an integrated occupational therapy leadership structure which values supervision and actively promotes continuous professional development.
The post-holders will be expected to travel within Ceredigion. The ability to speak Welsh or learn to the required level within 2 years of appointment is essential for this post; English and/ or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
