We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and committed individual to join the Portfolio Management Office (PoMO) for the Mid Wales Growth Deal (MWGD).
This is an exciting opportunity to drive forward a £110m capital investment from the UK and Welsh Government in a £300m+ portfolio of key investments that will significantly enhance the regional economy in partnership with the private sector. We are now proceeding at pace into the delivery stage and require an experienced portfolio planner to work within the busy Portfolio Management Office.
About the Role
As the Portfolio Planner, you will be responsible for the creation, management and reporting of the Portfolio planning ensuring all aspects of the Portfolio are clearly defined, including key milestones and resource allocation. You will lead on all aspects of portfolio planning including analysis; horizon scanning, development, maintenance, monitoring and reporting all programme and project delivery plans across the portfolio. We operate a risk adjusted planning approach so strong RAID management is crucial, as is high proficiency in using Microsoft Project on the web, from which our dashboard reporting is driven.
