An opportunity has arisen for a Project Support Officer to be recruited to the Corporate Service Support Project Office Team on a full-time fixed term basis until 31st March 2028.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience supporting high-profile regional programmes and governance arrangements, working with Local Authorities, Welsh Government and a wide range of regional partners.
This role will be based within the Growing Mid Wales team. It is an exciting opportunity to support a busy regional partnership working across Ceredigion and Powys. Growing Mid Wales supports the delivery of regional economic priorities, including the Mid Wales Growth Deal and wider work linked to investment, governance and regional development.
About the role
You will provide project and programme support to help ensure that key activities are well organised, coordinated and followed through. This will include supporting meetings, maintaining forward plans, tracking actions, coordinating papers and helping to ensure that information is managed clearly and consistently.
The role will support work across Growing Mid Wales, including activity linked to the Mid Wales Growth Deal and regional governance arrangements. You will work with a range of colleagues and partners, helping to make sure that deadlines are met, actions are progressed and records are accurate and up to date.

We are seeking an individual who possesses a minimum level of qualifications from the following:
We are looking for a well-organised and reliable individual with experience of providing project, programme, governance or administrative support in a busy team or partnership environment.
You will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will be confident using Microsoft Office and able to maintain accurate records, coordinate meetings and follow up actions in a professional manner.
You should be comfortable working with a range of people, able to use your initiative, and willing to contribute to a team environment where priorities can change. Experience of supporting project meetings, preparing agendas, tracking actions, managing documents or working with formal governance arrangements would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be proactive, discreet and organised, with a positive approach to problem solving and a strong commitment to providing high-quality support.
A secondment opportunity may be considered; however, this is subject to discussion and approval from your current line manager.
