Join Our Team as a Digital Solutions Officer

We are looking to recruit a Digital Solutions Officer to join the corporate ICT team.

This new, exciting role will challenge the successful applicant to help in the design and deliver digital solutions to the citizens of Ceredigion. The role will require the applicant to meet with service areas and creatively and innovatively enable the organisation to deliver its goals through digital solutions which meet our strategic aims.

Responsibilities:

• liaise with stakeholders from operational service staff and managers, other project managers and technical staff to document requirements and translate requirements into digital solutions
• work with ICT colleagues to design, develop and manage change across the organisation
• plan, Monitor and control the progress of appointed projects
• act as product owner developing, testing and delivering Digital Solutions
• be a great team player and collaborator, willing to share knowledge and discuss approaches and tactics but is also able to work independently with the supervision and motivation of up to 3 ICT staff in delivering solutions
• investigate options for the use of new software to introduce new, more efficient business processes

Requirements:

• degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• in addition to the above, we require an individual with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language

A successful applicant without the required Welsh language skill will be fully supported to reach the desired standard within two years of appointment.
