We are looking to recruit a Cook to join our Team at Yr Hafod Residential Home, Cardigan on a permanent part time basis.

The role includes:

• general kitchen duties including washing up of equipment and utensils and the cleaning of all areas and surrounds
• to prepare and serve meals to the residents
• maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen at all times
• ensuring observance of Food Safety and  Environmental Health standards

On a day to day basis you will:   

• undertake the preparation and serving of meals for the residents to include beverages
• general kitchen duties including washing up of equipment and utensils and the cleaning of all areas and surrounds
• setting up the tables and clearing if required
• recording the temperature of food at the point of service
• ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards
• ensuring EEC standards on Manual Handling
• general Health and Safety of kitchen including hazardous equipment
