Please note that the advertised salary for this position is subject to a pending pay award. The final salary will be adjusted in line with the nationally agreed pay award.
The successful candidate may be eligible to up to a maximum of £8,000 (including VAT) towards the cost of expenses incurred due of relocating to Ceredigion. Ceredigion County Council is seeking an experienced and committed individual to lead the Council’s Trading Standards and Licensing services.
About the Role
As the Trading Standards and Licensing Manager, you will provide operational leadership and management to ensure that Trading Standards and Licensing services are delivered effectively in accordance with statutory requirements and to integrate the work of these services within the Council’s corporate framework, policies, values, practices and priorities. Additionally, this role will involve fulfilling the Council’s statutory responsibilities as Chief Weights and Measures Inspector, Lead Food Standards Officer and Lead Feed Officer.
