As part of the Corporate Service Support (CSS) function of the Council, an opportunity has arisen to appoint a Service Support Officer role within the structure. Corporate Service Support provides an agile administrative support function to various teams in the Authority.
This role will require the post holder to be flexible and adaptable as there will be a requirement for the post holder to move between teams, dependent on service needs. This role will have a particular focus supporting teams within the Council’s Through Age and Wellbeing (TAW) model, which aims to transform the wellbeing and safety of the people of Ceredigion.
About the candidate
We are looking for a suitably qualified candidate who has good administrative and IT skills and a methodical approach to work, with excellent attention to detail. You must be an excellent communicator and be a Welsh speaker. You will be required to work as a team, as well as have the ability to work autonomously. With requirement of moving between teams, you will need to have good time keeping skills and have the ability to manage increased workload.

The role will involve an opportunity for hybrid working but due to certain responsibilities/client demands, the post holder will be required to work from the office regularly and this could be with little notice.
