Our Fideliti Childcare Voucher scheme has now closed to new applicants. It has been replaced by a new government scheme called ‘Tax-Free Childcare’.
Existing members of our Fideliti Childcare Voucher scheme will remain on the scheme unless you choose to switch to ‘Tax-Free Childcare’. You’ll keep getting childcare vouchers as long as the scheme is running and you’re employed by Ceredigion County Council.
Whether you’re considering joining or switching to ‘Tax-Free Childcare’, you should consider the useful ‘better off calculator‘ on the government website to see the childcare options available to you.
As of 1st September 2018 Ceredigion County Council has been chosen to join the pilot for Welsh Government’s funded childcare of 3 and 4 year old children of working parents. ‘Childcare Offer’ is open to any family living in Ceredigion as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.
The ‘Childcare Offer’ is up to 30 hours a week of funded early education and childcare for eligible working parents of three and four-year-olds for up to 48 weeks of the year.
You cannot access the ‘Childcare Offer’ funded hours whilst claiming childcare vouchers. Vouchers can be used for any additional childcare hours you have above the ‘childcare offer’.
