How to view ‘Holidays’

This article provides information on viewing your absence information within the Ceri self-service system.

Viewing your Holidays

Within Holidays section you will find links to the following:

  • Holidays list – The Holidays list will only show the previous 12 months worth of leave and any future leave.
    Only future dates can be amended by clicking on the relevant date and editing the Holiday details
    Booking a full day will reduce the holiday balance by the value of your daily working pattern
    Booking a part day will reduce the holiday balance by half the value of your daily working pattern

Viewing your Holiday Balances

  • Holiday Balances – This will provide you with a 3 year rolling view of your annual leave and bank holiday entitlements. Note entitlement includes any carried forward figures from previous year

Viewing My Calendar

  • My Calendar – This provides you with a view of all absences in calendar format. This will include all absence types, learning events and your working pattern

Using the Holiday Search

  • Holiday Search – To search and view all annual leave between two dates

Booking Annual Leave

  • Add holiday – To book annual leave

    • Select Absence type from drop down list
    • Select Holiday period from drop down list and enter the relevant details (end date would be the last date of absence not the date returning to work)
    • Click Save
