How to find and select an employee

This article provides guidance on selecting an employee from employees who report to you or you have access to on the Ceri People Manager system.

Who do you see?

  • Direct employees – the staff that you line manage directly will be shown to you as default when accessing any people related screens
  • Indirect employees – the staff that report to your direct employees, and anybody ‘below’ are available by conducting a search

You will only be notified of tasks or authorisation requests for direct employees.

Selecting an employee

You will be prompted to select an employee when accessing the People section or any people related links. A list of  your employees will be displayed on the left hand side with options for you to narrow or expand the search as required.
